Black Manta Lead Figurine

sg
This is a lead figurine, about 4" tall, of Black Manta, which came out a few months ago, part of a vast line of DCU characters, including Aquaman.

Like the Aquaman figure, these little babies kinda make me laugh, because they come with all sorts of warnings about how not to handle them. Because they are cast in lead, you're supposed to wash your hands after touching it, and keep it away from children, etc. What we collectors go through just to have stuff like this!

This was sent in by the Schafer Family--Mac, Katy, Hunter, Tory, Hannah, and Skye--who are all F.O.A.M. members and also are responsible for the ultra-nifty custom header you see at the top of the page! Thanks Schafer Family!

I have the action figure of Black Manta from the Alex Ross Justice series. It's almost identical to this.

It's pretty rad.

I found this and the Aquaman fig a few months ago at my LCS. They are pretty cool, and were reasonably priced. Plus, they come with an oversized comic with origins and powers and info. Sweet stuff!

So I can't use it to stir soup with? Alton Brown rails against uni-purpose untensils. So don't give him this.

I actually bought both of them a couple weeks ago, I left them in their boxes :)
