Aquaman has been left for dead in the middle of the desert! But how did the King of Atlantis find himself marooned in such a hellish environment? As Aquaman struggles to survive impossible odds, what extreme measures will he resort to in order to stay alive?

I love that Johns is taking Aquaman's perceived weaknesses, challenging them head on, and turning them into character strengths!

Aquaman marooned in the desert? It's been done before (but not well). I appreciate Joe's observation that they are taking Aquaman's perceived weaknesses.
I was thinking the same thing. Issue #1 debunked the "talks to fish" idea. This one will (hopefully) put a nail in the coffin of "can't be out of water for more than an hour".
I think the whole hour/water thing has definitively been put in the dustbin of history, as far back as Neal Pozner's 1986 mini. And Thank Neptune for that!
I dunno... That cop asked him if he wanted a glass of water in #1. :)
Calling this as the best Aquaman ongoing series of all time.
I just love is teeth XD
