After the last issue Brightest Day being an Aqua-palooza, I think we all could guess this issue would focus on other characters. And we were right--most of this installment focuses on the Martian Manhunter.
But Aquaman does appear in this issue--or at least part of him does:

But that's not quite all: on the DC Nation page in the back of this issue is the final page from Time Masters: Vanishing Point #6, which features a whole bunch of messages scrawled on a chalkboard:
Update: Over on the Aquaman Shrine Facebook page, F.O.A.M.er Zack Lyke (creator of this month's cool header) points out that the hand washing up on the beach is the wrong one: Aquaman lost his right hand in Brightest Day #19, not his left. Mistake, or some weird hint?

Interesting chalkboard. But... And I know it is way to soon to tell, but when we finally get Aquaman back, and he's come to terms with his life and those in and ... dare I say, he's happy... We get "The Terror of Aquaman".
