Brightest Day #18 - March 2011

sg
Comics Weekend "Easy Come Easy Go" by Geoff Johns, Peter J. Tomasi, Ivan Reis, Scott Clark, and more.

Another issue Brightest Day with no appearance by Aquaman (nnnnhh!), but we do get a super-quick glimpse of Mera and another member of the Aqua-Family:
sg
...bringing Lorena, aka Aquagirl, into the story? Double plus good!

Is it wrong of me to say that I won't miss the Hawks if we don't see them again for awhile?

That being said, I CAN NOT WAIT for the next issue and I LOVED the Aquawar logo on the last page!!!

DC has been teasing Aquawar on the Source Blog and on Aquaman's Facebook page and I am really pumped for this storyline...I just want to know how its going to be presented ?!?

Oh and for those of you who didn't hear, DC has adjusted Brightest Day's length down from 26 issues to 24 (good decision IMHO) with the last issue in April being a 48 page blockbuster conclusion.

Good Aqua-family appearance, at least!

With DC's track record lately, the Lorena DeathWatch Clock starts now.
