Awww...that's my favorite of all Aquaman stories, "Aqualad Goes To School." I must have read that one a zillion times. He was such a cute and brave little kid.
I loved that he desperately wanted an education and was willing to go to such great lengths to get one, both in this story and later on when he had to travel to Scotland to attend secondary school. It was a pity he had so many obsticles to face for something his Titans teammates took for granted.
...and, on the other hand, this was one of a series of events which Aqualad later came to resent as an effort on Arthur's part to dump him while he took off on personal pursuits wherein having the kid around was inconvenient. (Teenagers often see things differently in hindsight, of course)...

Cool - Love the look of lil'Aqualad!
Wow. That's an amazing drawing, isn't it?
Sure is. I love the Harvey Kurtzman-esque teacher.

A great random panel. I love how Aqualad looks a bit uneasy with all the school business.
