That original SF theme is so stirring!
Wow! I actually got goosebumps! I hope if and when they do a Justice League movie they take note of the tone and atmosphere this video evokes. This was an age of true and pure heroes. Great, great stuff! I'm going to watch it again!

This gets shown on the "Boomerang" cartoon network from time to time.
Weird--haven't seen this one on Boomerang in a good while, even though they show all the others from that era pretty much every day. (The others were The Flintstones, Atom Ant, Magilla Gorilla and The Jetson's mixes). I never liked SuperFriends but I did enjoy this short...

I used to get giddy every time Boomerang aired this. I managed to find a sound file of it and add it to my Super Heroes mix theme.
This captures what we all felt Super Friends was like as a kid. The reality was quite different, but the opening themes always lived up to the ideal, and this even surpasses THAT.
