This adorable Aquaman figure comes from our newest F.O.A.M. member, Angelo Malaquias. I'll let Angelo explain what is and where it came from:
"I would like to contribute to the Shrine with a figure that was released by a Brazilian fast food chain called Bob's Burgers (www.bobs.com.br).
The figure was given in Bob's happy meal like product called 'Tri Kids' and was called 'Justice League Toy Arts'. I only got Aquaman, as my partner is a total Aquaman freak. He has over 50 different Aquaman figures and tons of Aquaman comics."
Its interesting that the version of Aquaman represented here is a tad out of date, still rocking the hook-for-a-hand look. But nevertheless, its an awesome little figure, and like the Brave and the Bold toys sold in Argentina and other South American countries, I can't for the life of me understand why they're not available here in North America.
Thanks for the pics, Angelo, and welcome to F.O.A.M.!

Aquaman looks awesome. I'll like to see a pic of the whole set.
Even if it is a bit outdated costume/look-wise, it's still a way cool figure. I like that a lot.
Love it! Would love to see it done in classic Aquaman style, too, and even maybe a Mera? But how awesome. And yeah- why NOT in the USA???
That is pretty cool - great takeaway toys should be universal!
The whole set:

A Batman omission can always be explained away by a licensing conflict, but guest star Aquaman was just straight up more popular than series regular Martian Manhunter. In my head, Norm McDonald informs me "Argentinians loves Aquaman!" It makes me sad, because these are adorable.
It's Brazilian, not Argentinian… ;-)
