Here's an unusual, unexpected mention of Aquaman--in the August 8th, 2009 column of political strategist Donna Brazile, in article about President Obama: "With an exhale of air best suited for Aquaman's lungs..."
This was sent to me by our newest F.O.A.M. member, Steve Peterson, who works for the Fort Smith, Arkansas paper The Times Record. Part of Steve's job is to prepare the op/ed pages, and that's where this particular Aquaman fan caught this very out-of-left-field mention of the Sea King.
