Since I took a moment today to remember the great Joseph Barbera on my namtab blog, I thought it would be appropriate to put something Super Friends-related on here today, since, as far as I know, it was Hanna-Barbera that first introduced me to my hero.This fun piece appeared in an article called "Guilty Pleasures" in Entertainment Weekly back sometime in 2002. And while I can't second writer Jessica Shaw's specific enthusiasm about Aquaman--i.e., he's a sensitive super-hero-hottie--I absolutely loved to see Aquaman mentioned at all in a major magazine, and in a non-snarky way, at that!
Plus, I just love that picture!
