Great pod-cast, as always! It makes me want to go back and re-read LEGENDS, which I don't really remember all that fondly. (I'm not a big fan of mass hysteria stories, which I seem to recall this was...)

There was another Annual Crossover which I remember fondly, something about DCU International. Characters from different countries (other than the US) appeared in them. I fondly recall the TITANS and JLA issues. The character from JLA re-appeared in the JLA Gatekeeper mini-series by Tim Truman, I believe...Aquaman was in JLA at the time, and Tempest/Aqualad was in Titans.

Addendum:
I mis-remembered. Sala made her debut in GREEN LANTERN Annual 9, then her story followed up in GATEKEEPER.
The JLA, JSA, Flash, Superman, and Batman also had "Planet DC" annuals. Most of these characters never appeared again, but the ones I read were fun.

If anybody including Rob or Shag is interested in more "geek talk" about crossovers, feel free to check out the following podcasts:

The short version: I love Crisis, have a soft spot for Invasion, Eclipso and Armageddon 2001. Underworld Unleashed is also a favorite as I always felt it was DC Comics version of Marvel's Acts of Vengeance (which was another winner to me).
