New "Mego" Aquaman?

sgsg
Figures Toy Co. is launching a new line of limited edition, Mego-style 2-pack figures. They're starting with the Bat-Characters, of course, but check out the cardback featuring the all-stars of the DCU, all drawn by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez (PBHN)! Might there be a new Mego-style Aquaman in our future? Let's hope so!

If it happens, who would you like yo see him two-packed with? Aqualad seems like the obvious choice, but I could see FTC grouping the Teen Titans together. So who else would be appropriate? Hawkman? Wonder Woman? Alfred Pennyworth?

Oh, this makes me long for those halcyon pre-52, pre-Crisis days.

Figures Toy Co. is really confusing the fans with these reveals. I hope they don't just dump a bunch of figures out there all at once and don't give everyone who wants one a chance to find them at a decent price.

Oddly enough, I think that Ra's Al Ghul shot is from Who's Who! Looks like Jerry Bingham's Ra's from the soon-to-be-discussed issue #19!

How about Aquaman paired up with The Penguin; to recreate the Super Powers mini-comic packaged with Aquaman? I know I'm mixing toylines here, but...

Hawkman and Green Arrow should definitely be a two-pack..."Now with Political Argument Action!"

But hopefully we do get all these characters in some Mego-like form.

Rob, Batman & Robin are by Carmine Infantino and the Teen Titans art look like they are by Dick Giordano. Speaking of Robin, why are there two separate Robins AND a Nightwing? Weird.

I just ordered myself an Aqualad. :-) Twenty-five bucks seems high, but I've wanted one of these for my entire life, so compared to that it's well worth it....
