Wow... That is just uncalled for, lady!
There was nothing uncalled for, mean-spirited or inappropriate about Diana's comments. She was simply referring to a time when Atlantis was in great turmoil; an opinion in that era Arthur shared. It was simply exposition for readers unaware of Aquaman's current trials and tribulations. It was a bit 'clunky' in wording, but it was obviously not meant as any kind of insult.
