The ads were almost exclusively drawn by Joe Kubert and his school (of which I would attend about a decade later). This particular ad is clearly the work of someone else, though that Heroes World mascot up top is by Kubert. Aquaman didn't show up much in Heroes World catalogs, because he rarely got his own stuff in the late 70s--but here he is, dutifully posing in between the Hulk and Captain America, probably the only time we'll ever get to see that!

I found this particular Heroes World catalog at a flea market in the late 80s. I remembered their comic ads, but had no idea they put out whole catalogs. I remember arguing with myself over whether or not I should try and contact them, to see if they still had some of this stuff!
Chris
They also had a store in some mall in New Jersey or New York. I managed to go one time,a nd it was AWESOME!!!
