I'm thankful for the same things you guys are...that we have a sense of community here & around the Shrine, with genuine respect and affection for each other. I try to start my day here, and it usually means I start the day with a smile.

Onward and upward to 2013!
Ride the wave and Fan the flame!
Happy New Year, everybody!!

Another great episode, Rob!

1. I've had two nasty, long lasting illnesses since late November, so Rob has my sympathies.

2. I wish Michael Bailey did a podcast about characters I'm into, because he tawk good and I'm a big fan of negativity. I haven't dug Morrison on Superman either, and the only time I've had an interest in the titles was when Giffen and Jurgens brought in Hellspont.

3. Enjoyed Siskoid, but gosh, so positive. Weirds me out.

4. I've been burned/worn out lately, so if Chad applies himself, he could marshal his Austin blogs against my Houston compound. Going to have to crank out a lot more Ragman content to take the prize though, buddy. Fan cannot live on power rings alone.

5. Great job by Luke Daab! That was, like, a real song that a non-geek might enjoy on the radio and stuff.

6. I'm still waiting for Jaconetti to free up time for our HawkManhunter "Cheststrapping Young Aliens" podcast to launch. I keep trying to tell him shouting his portion into a sodie pop bottle that he tosses into the Mississip' that he intends for me to pluck out of the gulf and listen to ain't quite going to cut it.

7. Well, this proves that I have the worst voice in the JLA blogosphere and most obviously work off a script. My "supporters" are surely kicking themselves now. Next time, work smart and push for Betty White to guest host instead.

8. Dug the stinger. It's been a long time since I heard such a fun callback in a tune.
