1. Podcast subject characters in live action? Way to totally screw Shag, Rob.

2. I’m miffed. This would have been a perfect opportunity for you guys to invite me back to discuss the live action career of the Martian Manhunter as played by… David Ogden Stiers? Oh, right. Never mind. Thank you in advance for not brining that up ever again.

3. I never wound up the nerve to talk to Neal Adams at SDCC 2000/2001, but I’d love to hit him up for a commission if given another chance. I’d totally just linger around Jim Steranko’s table like a swooning groupie.

4. I had hoped to catch up with you guys at Dragon*Con, but my work schedule and the cash I spent at Space City Comic Con put that notion to rest. I knew a guy who met Bill Sienkiewicz in the ‘90s, and thought he was an arrogant ass. Never met him myself, though. Next year sir, especially if Jim Starlin comes back, who I must meet before I die. He’s one of my absolute comic gods.

5. I don’t have a problem with the CW getting away from Smallville. I expect those viewers will give Arrow a chance, but I’m sure they’d like a broader audience who would prefer something more like The Dark Knight than a low rent cosplay soap opera.

6. “A.C., bro?” Yeah, lets not reference Smallville if at all possible.

7. I watched the Smallville pilot, but I don’t recall if I finished it, because it was so terrible. I liked Mercy Reef, and definitely preferred Justin Hartley as Aquaman. I saw it on YouTube before the DVD release.

8. Adrianne Palicki also played a quasi Kara Zor-El on Smallville. By the way, I had some thoughts on that Wonder Woman pilot.

9. Rob is nuts. Madmen has never had as good of a season as the first, and it had a great pilot. Season two was clearly inferior, but was decent, and the show redeemed itself from the third season onward. I remember trying and failing to finish watching the Star Trek: TNG pilot, and had the same problem with Deep Space Nine. I don’t recall hating the Voyager pilot, but that show never inspired any passion, even in the negative sense.

10. No feedback? Boo. Hiss.

Rob,

I like how you pointed out the quickest way to get your pilot passed over is to cast the Adrianne Palicki, having appeared in un-aired pilots for AQUAMAN and WONDER WOMAN.

Fun Fact: The lovely Miss Palicki is also set to star as Lady Jaye in the live action G.I. Joe sequel, G.I. JOE: RETALIATION--a movie that was supposed to have come out this past June, but is now pushed to sometime next year (maybe) while they do massive reshoots and story changes. That's at least three fanboy projects she has starred in that never came to fruition!

The Lack of Listener feedback was unprofessional, to say the least. The Rest of the episode was highly enjoyable!!! I never noticed exactly how much of a Surfer Dude AC was until I heard this...But yeah, he total was.

Don't worry Shagg, You'll get alive Action Firestorm Some day...

Reading the "theme" of the episode, I totally expected it to last about, oh, fifteen minutes, haha! :-)
Nice to hear more about Aquaman on the Super Friends....that would have been a good time to talk about Firestorm on the Galactic Guardians, since that is still his highest profile feature so far, right?

Still haven't seen Mercy Reef. I want a hard copy of it, but I have already purchased the DVDs it was being given away with. If I could buy it on itunes and then burn a disk I would, but my computer is not very good with technical things like that. :-(
