Something about this dialogue kind of bothers me. I don't recall that Mera was ever portrayed as the haughty, arrogant, royal snooty type before. And I really hope Geoff Johns doesn't start.
I think this is a real testimony to the difference between Aquaman and Namor. Namor demands people to treat him in the manner that Mera is suggesting. Aquaman is a lot more laid back when it comes to that line of thinking. Which is probably why I like him way more than I ever could Namor.

I agree a bit, John--but it could be that Mera is being pushed by the police's behavior. She's digging in her heels a bit.
