Ok, I get that Beast isn't stronger than Wonder Woman or Aquaman (Wonder Woman is as strong as Superman, if not marginally stronger, and Aquaman is probably fourth after Supes, WW and the Martian Manhunter, making him one of the strongest beings on the planet). I also get that this is from the JLA/Avengers crossover, so who knows how the rules have been fiddled with.
What I don't get is, if powers aren't allowed ("no feet this year"), how does Hal think he's going to beat Hank in arm wrestling? The ring doesn't give him superhuman strength, and Hank can lift several tons at the 'is he using Wolverine's barber?' stage of his mutation. It's one thing to have no fear, Hal, it's another thing to have no common sense. :-)
They aren't talking about arm wrestling. Hal and Aquaman are going to beat them at ping-pong later on.
