The New 52: Rank 'em Again at CBR.com!

Almost immediately following DC Comics' unprecedented June announcement of plans to relaunch the DC Universe with 52 all-new #1 issues this September, Comic Book Resources ran one of the most comprehensive and telling polls enabling readers to rank their initial reactions by level of anticipation for each of the new titles. Aquaman by Geoff Johns, Ivan Reis & Joe Prado ranked in the top 5 of the results viewable here.

Way to go Sea King, right?!?

In this newly posted video, Executive Editor of DC Comics Eddie Berganza and Editor-in-Chief Bob Harras discuss with CBR's Jonah Weiland the winners and losers of the poll and just why everyone is so excited for Aquaman:

Today, CBR has announced plans to compare the initial data collected to the results of the same poll now being conducted again more than 2 months later to see how the follow-up information DC has provided regarding the creative teams, solicits, and preview art for the New 52 may have affected fans' opinions. Of course, the Aquaman Shrine is encouraging everyone to head on over to CBR.com and again make Aquaman a top title in the rankings, just like we did first time! So don't waste any time F.O.A.M.ers, make your opinion count and go vote!

Uh,oh, looks like a lot of the ones I'm most excited about are ill-fated. But that's okay, I always love those footnotes in comic history, too crazy to survive.

Voted again. They said the list was randomized, but Aquaman was the very last book listed...

BTW, this interviewer was very hard to understand. Talks too fast, mumbles. Maybe it's the sound, but either way it's a little annoying.
