This is the only Aquaman-centric segment from 2005's Bizarro World, the follow-up volume to Bizarro Comics.
I have to admit, this piece, simply titled "Aquaman", by Mike Doughty and Danny Hellman, is not really funny at all, nor is it trying to be--its really more "Aquaman Sunday Melancholies." So if you don't want to your lazy Sunday loaded down with a vague sense of ennui, I would suggest skipping this:
That's it for "Aquaman Sunday Funnies", at least for now. Hope you enjoyed these skewed looks at the Sea King!
I guess it's more the other kind of funny, not haha...but it's a witty way to portray Aquaman's underdog status. I quite enjoyed the Bizarro stuff as well as Marvel's Strange Tales.
I kinda liked it. It seems sorta Futuramaesque. It didn't move me as much as I think it was meant to. My "funny superhero" sensibility leans more toward Ambush Bug or Twisted ToyFare Theater, and my "sad/moving superhero" preference is more like what's found in "Top Ten."

Ugh. Not my cup of tea, or orange juice. Thanks for sharing, though, Rob.
based on this cover i take it you now have a grudge against the flash and/or bizarro?

I really enjoy this one. I particularly like Green Arrow's cameo as Aquaman's A-hole roommate.
