This double-page spread house ad is appearing in DC's new books out this week!
I have to admit, I'm kind of excited about this. I know there's a tremendous downside, but at least DC is trying to shake things up. Of course, in the end its the execution that matters, and we don't know much about that yet. But, for the moment, I remain optimistic. Having the Sea King be such a big part of it helps--I'm not sure how all fired up I'd be if, say, I was running The Atom Shrine.
This will probably be the only time Aquaman and "The New York Times" will be seen in the same space. Until, of course, they review the big-budget Aquaman movie...

I'll judge it once I've read it. As I've told several people who asked my opinion: There's a new Aquaman book, so I'm mostly happy.
Time will tell. Comic book sales slide, changes occur...law suites settle, changes occur. As long as The King of the Seas has his identity back and is given respect I will at least be reading. They have changed his costume so many times, in my eyes he is always wearing that goldfish top, black shorts and green pants with fins! LOL
Having Ivan Reis and Jim Lee draw Aquaman at the same time... wow. Such a massive change in a relitively short space of time. From no book to having the two of the biggest artistic names in the business drawing him it sure is about time and tide for Aquaman.
Not that I think it's going to be bad, but even if it is, I'll take bad Geoff Johns writing on Aquaman and JLA than nothing at all.
I am excited. Looking forward to a fresh start and hoping it is all done well. Can't wait.
