Ouch! Not smart to piss off Mera! Geoff Johns writes a very kick ass Mera, can't wait to see what he does with her in the new series. Maybe a further exploration of her home dimension? ;)
Considering how much Mera and Jason Rusch were thrust together during Blackest Night, I was hoping a continuing friendship would evolve between these two characters. They don't logically go together, but they would have been an interesting pairing to watch as friends. The more Brian Michael Bendis Avengers comics I read, the more I'm interested in his philosophy of "stick two characters in a room and see what happens". You can see this same sort of idea applied to Mera and Jason Rusch in Blackest Night.
