I really hope it turns out to be a good series. Johns is a history buff and I hope he mixes in Golden, Silver, Bronze and Modern twists.
I'm optimistic about this. Here's hoping it's more like Green Lantern and less like his Flash. And I'll third the motion for Ivan.

I prefer his Flash run to his Green Lantern. Very exciting.
David J. Cutler: I totally agree with you, Johns' Green Lantern felt boring to me and I never really followed it despite several efforts to get into it. Based on Brightest Day, his Aquaman should be fun as long as he keeps both hands. ;)
The fact I fully expected it does not lessen the announcement's importance!
