WHAT was a boner?! I saw some old Batman pages where they mentioned "pulling a boner" like a dozen times!
It's a good one, totally random!
According to my Dictionary app, it's a stupid mistake (as well as that other thing)
Wait, when he says "partner," does he mean crime-fighting partner, or, y'know, life-partner? Is that even legal in Atlantis? Does Mera know about this?
On a more serious note, did they just keep using "pulled a boner" to thumb their noses at the Comics Code Authority? I don't think it was ever that common a phrase, and it was a double entendre by 1950 or so.
This was before Mera came along; the high seas can be a lonely place. And I never knew Topo was Hindu.
