Yesterday DC unveiled this house ad promoting their intention to hold the current $2.99 price point for their line of books. A couple of observations:
--Nice to see Aquaman featured so prominently!
--As F.O.A.M.er Joe Slab pointed out, this is probably the first time Mera has ever appeared in a DC house ad!
--I think you can tell by looking at this ad who has a movie coming out soon!
--It might have been fun if GL was blasting a $3.99 Marvel book into bits, though maybe that's just me.
Thanks for the tip Joe!

There's a lot of Aqua-love right now, and it's about time.
I see that in addition to "holding the line at $2.99" ... Superman is "holding the line" by refusing to even so much as tweak his classic costume.
I was this beautiful piece by Ivan Reis as a poster, sans the lettering!
Hahaha, aw man, yeah it WOULD look cool with GL blasting an over-priced book.
Something for the Photoshoppers to think about!
Very nice!
I see Wonder Woman is still in her "I love the Image 90s" outfit!
But cool poster nontheless!!!

Wow, only 3 bucks each for 22-page comics? Someone at DC deserves a sainthood.
They should change the tag line to "affordable for some."
Is that a teeny-tiny Aqualad in the bottom left corner?
@brent
Yes, it is!
I was going to alert you to this but I should know that there's usually no need. Having Mera and Aqualad there but no Captain Marvel that I can discern...hopefully that goes at least a small way toward payback for you. :)
To be fair, those 3.99 Marvel books are still at 22 pages and sometimes have backups. DC books are down to 20 pages of story.
Love the Aquafamily presence though, a good sign!
I second that would make a really great poster! Maybe a giant Elasti Girl to fill the gap?
