It's Adventure Sunday!
Sailing, takes me away, to where I always heard it could be:
After fouling the ship's propeller with the seaweed, Aquaman goes back and rescues Gordon. In the meantime, the other ship has disappeared.
The next day, Aquaman spies the ship returning, trying again to sabotage Gordon and his quest. With Gordon's boat filling with water, there isn't much time:

...and so ends another adventure with Aquaman!
A nice little twist at the end, there--that the whole thing is a sort of Scooby-esque plot to steal some jewels. If it only hadn't been for that meddling Aquaman!
Gordon's boat, emblazoned with that giant rainbow on the side, can't help but be viewed in a slightly different context nowadays. I wonder if Aquaman kept it as a sort of Batman-esque trophy?
