Rolling Stone #1120 - 2010

sg
F.O.A.M.er Brent Almond caught this reference to Aquaman in the current issue of Rolling Stone, in a little throwaway gag about the troubled Spider-Man musical. Here's a close-up:

Brent wondered what band might actually be suited to write the music for an Aquaman musical. My suggestion was "none of them."

Good catch, thanks Brent!

I could see Meat Loaf doing an awesome Aquaman rock opera.

Oh I don't know rob! I think there are some great bands that could compose an Aquaman soundtrack...Muse comes to mind 1st.

How about Phish? Or Moby? Or Billy Ocean? Or Hootie & the Blowfish? Okay, that's all of the puns I can think of...

But I actually like Muse as a serious suggestion.

@Brent

Right?

I can just hear their melodic rock-opera style in the background as Aquaman leads an army of sea-creatures into battle!

Wasn't Cydonia a lost suburb of Atlantis, so the Muse song "Knights of Cydonia" fits right in for Aquaman, right? Right? lol...
