In the video, book designer Matthew Reinhart discusses how it was decided who got in the book, and at the :40 second mark he mentions who his favorite super hero in the DC stable is! (I'm sure once Mr. Reinhart mentioned who it was, Dan Didio tried strenuously to talk him out of it)

YES! An AQUAMAN diorama will definitely be in this :)
I think they redrew Chop-Chop there. In the original art, published in "The History of the DC Universe" hardcover, he has his old racial stereotype look intact.
This book sounds like a lot of fun though!
