Mac & Hunter Schafer Aqua-Sketches

F.O.A.M. member Mac Schafer was on a roll last week, sending me all kinds of stuff I can use for the Shrine.

First up is the above sketch, done by Mac when he around five or six, establishing his long time Aqua-fides. Mac also points out "Notice that it's on that old green and white computer paper from back in the day." Duly noted!

Jumping forward in time a few decades is another Aquaman sketch, this time by Mac's son Hunter:

Mac again: "The drawing below is by my 11-year-old son Hunter who has never submitted to the Shrine. He loves art and is headed to sixth grade. He really likes designing things and came up with three versions of Aquaman. He wants me to send it to Johnny DC to see if they'll put it in the back of one of the kids comics. I told him I wanted to send it to the Shrine too. He puts my art to shame at that age."


The Schafer Family is all about the Aqua-love, having previously submitted many items--most homemade--to the Shrine (check out the family's amazing Aqua-Shrine here), so by definition Hunter is already a member of F.O.A.M.

But don't let that stop the Aquaman drawings from coming in, Schafer Family, and thanks again Mac!
