Young Justice The Series Preview

sg
A bunch of F.O.A.M.er sent me this link to DC's "Source" blog featuring the official announcement of a new Young Justice animated series, featuring Aqualad among its cast!

This advance shot looks pretty cool, and of course I'm happy to have another member of the Aqua-Family showing up on TV. Can a Mera series be far behind?

Thanks guys!

Ohhhh-- thaaat's why they killed Garth. I finally made the connection. And hey-- Miss Martian! Alright!

They couldn't even get his purple eyes right? Are we sure this is Aqualad? (sigh)Okay, so what Aqualad is this?

Cool to see he's one of the mains on the show. Baffled by the design they've chosen for him. We'll have to wait and see how his story turns out. but yeah, no purple eyes is a big lookover.

Glad he is on the show, and interested to see what this Aqualad is like! And interested to see if Aquaman and Mera show up!

Very psyched about Miss Martian being in there! As for Aqualad, I'm cool with this as long as the character is interesting. It may or may not be Garth at all, which is fine by me. At least there's an Aqua-character in there.

I'm baffled--no Wonder Girl?? Missed opportunity there, CN. I'm fine with black Aqualad (certainly the Teen Titans Aqualad was very different as well) but the art style and costume design isn't doing much for me--Robin's an exception there.

Dude - This is awesome news! I hadn't heard about this! Once again the Shrine brings all the good news!

I never would have guessed they'd green light a show like this. Great line-up too. I assume Artemis is Mia/Speedy. Like everyone else, I'm wondering what direction they're going with Aqualad.

Can't wait!

So now you've got a bi-weekly comic featuring Aquaman and Mera, and a weekly cartoon featuring Aqualad. You've got a very busy future coming up! Pretty quick you're gonna start yearning for the days when Aquaman was a dead character. :)
