K. Beaton is Kate Beaton--she's very awesome and well regarded in web comics circles. The gags in Hark! are usually pretty historical and classic literature rooted though, so we probably won't see a return to Aquaman anytime soon.
Funny, I've read through her archives a couple times and I had no memory of this strip.
...Oh, I see now because it's today's comic! Awesome!
