"I'll never know the touch of a woman."
No, Fathead isn't some insulting term for the Aquatic Ace; its the name of a company that produces giant, bigger-than-life wall stickers that you can buy, featuring various sports stars, cartoon characters, and superheroes. At $89.99 a pop, they're a little pricey for what is essentially a big sticker, but the sheer number of characters available must mean they're fairly popular.
If you head over to the Aquaman Fathead page, you'll see an odd little fact sheet about the Sea King: under Power and Abilities, it lists: "Undersea adaptation, telepathy, healing factor, super strength, enhanced senses, durability, left hand made of water and it possesses mystical properties, power to make fish grow."
Why, yes, those are his...wait, what?
A bunch of F.O.A.M.ers sent me the link to this, as well as a new recruit, AquaFan Jason Freehauf. Thanks Jason, and welcome to F.O.A.M.!

I don't want the big one as much as I'd like to get those smaller images. *sigh* Too pricey for me anyway.
That would be cool in a room with a pool table in... no pun intended... especially with the way he's holding that Trident.
I didn't know he had a healing factor?
"Grow, minnow! Grow like the whale you are!"
If my wife wouldn't divorce me for the 10 foot Aquaman sticker on the wall, the fact I paid 90 bucks for it would certainly do it.
Don't think I'M getting this one either.
There's not really room for it on the wall in my own personal "shrine", but it sure would look cool in Orin's room. Maybe I can convince my wife he needs this as a birthday gift...doubtful, but worth a shot...
Definitely too pricey, unless I was decorating a kids room, then I might splurge. But cool! His powers are wacky though! hah...
The Fish Growing thing only happens in fish that REALLY like Aquaman.
I'm glad Aquaman's mental powers are described as "telepathy" instead of the cringe-inducing "he talks to fish". Cool sticker by the way.
Looks like Jerry Ordway art. He's been doing a lot of DC licensing art lately, along with Mike Zeck on a lot of Batman stuff.
Ordway should be drawing JLA, with a timeless, non-continuity hindered lineup!
I've been tempted by these Fatheads for my son's room, but I'll stick with the 70s DC wallpaper we got from ebay. No Aquaman though. He got bumped by Captain Marvel.
Chris
Is it me or is that trident a pentadent?
It's a trident... but Arthur's ability to make fish grow also covers trident prongs. Now, if we can just convince him that the economy is a fish, we'll all be swimming easier! ;)
