DC Comics Subscription Ad - 1964

sg
Even during the 60s, when Aquaman was a pretty big star, you still didn't see him headlining house ads all that much, and this subscription ad is the only one I've ever found of its type focusing solely on the Sea King.

Since they only had limited room on the form, DC had to pick and choose which other titles to highlight. I guess they figured any kids who bought Aquaman probably bought Sea Devils, as well!

The curse of the yellow glove seems to have attacked Arthur's elbow.

10 issues for $1! Boy, that's a good deal.

I love the old DC subscription ads. You are right it is rare to find Aquaman starring in one.
