PJ Bottoms - 2008

sg
sg
These are some spiffy DC Superhero pajama bottoms, in two separate photos, sent to me by F.O.A.M. members Wil Whalen and Tommy (of the Bat-Blog), respectively. Thanks guys!

I don't wear pjs, myself, though these are so jazzy I just might change my mind if I came across them at Target. Even the tag is nice looking!

Oddly, there's Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Flash, and Green Lantern, but no Wonder Woman. Do manufacturers figure men won't wear jammies with the Amazing Amazon on them?

I bet you're wondering, so what's with this picture (from the cover of Teen Titans #53), of the 70s-era Teen Titans each pasting their mentors one?

Well, that's because, over on my
Hey Kids, Comics! blog, today, F.O.A.M. member Russell Burbage contributes an amazing (dare I say "titanic"?) story, and I wanted to let as many people know about it as possible.

I wanted some sort of Aquaman/Titans image to post, but couldn't find one. Then just today, an old issue of World's Finest arrived in the mail, featuring the above headline for that month's Daily Planet feature. Fate!

And just to plug some more, its also Teen Titans Day over at one of my other blogs,
Coming Super Attractions!, and in addition to the graphic design-y goodness, you'll read about some exciting blog team-up news!

I just saw these pajama bottoms at a Wal-Mart in Colorado (I'm on vacation in Beaver Creek, just outside of Vail this week). I snatched them up as quickly as I could. I love them! Very colorful and great bronze age art.
