This bit of exciting news (hat tip: F.O.A.M. member Erik Brunbauer--thanks Eric!) is from a piece on Newsarama.com about the future of Aquaman, at least according to Dan Didio:
Will we see the original Aquaman again? DiDio: "Aquaman. This year." DiDio said they want to make sure that the next time readers see Aquaman, it'll be the "best" version of the character.
Fingers crossed.

Heck, looks like I may have somewhere else to spend my money this year. I don't know, I'm VERY dubious about what DC would consider the "best" version of Aquaman. If they did to Arthur what they did to Green Arrow, I could live with it, you know? Bring him back from before his son died, before he lost his wife, before he lost his hand, and before he had lost all chances at happiness.
Of course, Dan Didio's version of the "best Aquaman" will be a previously unknown crack addicted lesbian teenaged clone from a water planet in the constellation Aquarius who becomes a member of the new Orange Lantern Corps.
Haha.......ohh man.......that's going to have me laughing for days! Let's hope and pray that the man has more sense than we give him credit for...or we may just end up with lesbo-aquagirl.
I have a feeling we'll end up with either the PAD version, classic or a mixture of classic and Artie Joe. DiDio is known for not really giving much consideration to fans, so, who knows.
