Another round of word definitions, courtesy of the DC Comics Super Dictionary!
We have a real trifecta of classic Aquaman artists here, the first panel being by Ramona Fradon(I love how friendly Aquaman looks there), the second by Nick Cardy, and the third by Jim Aparo. It doesn't really get any better than that.

And I really like the heroic simplicity of "No one near him has ever drowned."

That Aquaman in a canoe shot is amusing for some reason.
I love the dictionary entries, just wanted to chime in and tell you that.
I must confess at the Shrine of Aquaman that the dictionary was a major influence on my life. In England we did not get many American comics... so my early childhood knowledge was mainly formed by the contents of Super-Friend goodie bags (which had sweets, transfers and tats) the odd cartoon and the dictionary. It directly inspired me to write my first comicbook at the age of six and helped teach me to read. Without it I may not be the shitty hack writer I am today. I've actually got a bit teary from seeing those entries which still blaze in the neglected corners of my damaged brainbox.
Great work there. Note how much the drowning victim, created from an image of Aquaman's wife, resembles the woman with whom Aquaman had his longest relationship besides Mera, ex-girlfriend Dolphin?
