I don't own either of these items(damn), so these photos were generously provided by F.O.A.M.er Chuck "D.C." Dill, who sent the 1978 DC Comics Calendar page, along with a whole bunch of other stuff that'll show up here eventually.
Of the curtains, Chuck says: "These curtains are hanging in my room. I also have sheets that match them." Chuck, you have one understanding wife, that's all I'll say. They feature classic Super Friends stock art, but go a little further by also using The Flash, Green Lantern, and even Hawkman!
The hand-towel is even more unusual, if not for the inclusion of the relatively obscure villains(I mean, how much merchandise did Heat-Wave make it on to?), then certainly for the fact that Aquaman is horrendously mis-colored. I mean, how do you get that so wrong while coloring everyone else correctly? (Even more strange is that it features Wonder Dog, but not Wendy and Marvin. Huh?)

I have the sheets and pillow case like that! My pillow case has the heroes on both sides, although I've heard of versions that have the villains on the reverse. And Aquaman is colored correctly there, although Green Lantern has blonde hair on the sheets!
