This just in! I just picked this figure up at All Things Fun and I'm so excited it deserves a special afternoon update at the Shrine (yes, I'm a total nerd, thanks for asking).This is the brand-spanking-new 13" figure from DC Direct, and it's gorgeous. In addition to the beautiful figure, it comes with two interchangable hands, a trident, and a base for him to stand on. It really is a beautiful piece, continuing DC Direct's tradition of really fine work.
Now I have to buy a second one so I can open this one!

nope, theyre out now!
the 2 extra hands are simply open palm, fingers-extended hands. the two placed on the figure in the box are fists.

He is super rad looking and probably the BEST Aquaman figure I've ever seen.

that would be fun, but at $60 a pop it might be a bit beyond Justifiable Expenses at this point.
plus, as tough as Aquaman is, he'd lose in a fight to Johnny. she is a force of nature when she gets going.
I'm not in love with the shiny, I like a matte finish on my sea king.
