This has long been a dream of mine--to catalog all of my Aquaman-related possessions, online, for everyone to enjoy! I've been collecting Aquaman stuff for over 10 years now, and I'm constantly amazed at the depth and breadth of orange and green stuff available, especially since he's not anywhere on the Fame-O-Meter like his fellow JLAers Superman and Batman.I used to have all my stuff displayed in my art studio, but ever since moving in with my girlfriend, lack of space has forced me to put all of it in storage. Not having a place to view and enjoy it really killed my enthusiasm for collecting for a while, but once I came up with the idea of creating a blog for it, I've got the bug all over again.
Even though Aquaman is usually the punchline in a great many superhero-related jokes, he was a childhood idol of mine, and my love for the character has endured years of odd stares, terrible comics, and having to constantly defend my choice of hero worship. But over the years I've seen that old Arthur has a lot of other fans, too, and to them this site is dedicated!
I don't have a firm count, but I believe I have at least 250+ pieces of Aquaman-related arcana, so at my currently-scheduled rate of updating twice a week, I should have something new to show for at least the next two and a half years! Not bad for a guy who can't get a solo title past 75 issues. So I hope you enjoy this site, and we can bask in my collective lunacy.
Oh, and by the way, that's me on the right.
