Aquaman: Sub Diego

At long last Aquaman: Sub Diego collects the acclaimed "American Tidal" arc from the Sea King's 2003 series and is on shelves today! With gorgeous artwork by Patrick Gleason and Will Pfeifer scripting a complex, original tale that shows the sheer power and heroism of Aquaman (long before the New 52 came to be), Sub Diego collects Aquaman #15-22 and is a Shrine recommendation for old and new readers alike. Check it out and let us know what you think!

One of my favourites Aquaman stories ever told!

Excellent, this definitely deserves to be collected. It is a flawed but still fantastic tale.

I had no idea this was being collected! Great to hear; it's a fantastic example of the type of story in which Aquaman excels.

What bentongrey said. I unloaded most of those issues long ago but may consider picking this up for the cover art alone.

Speaking of which, who's the figure on the left, under the first "A"? Not ringing a bell...

I missed one of the original issues when this story first came out so I'm glad this has been reprinted. Great trade. Very happy to have it in my collection. I know Pfiefer left the series after #22. Did the mystery of who sank San Diego ever get resolved after? I can't remember.
