The alt-dimension Secret Six attacks Gotham City, and unfortunately Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, and Zatanna have been forcibly removed from the action:

This leaves it up to Elongated Man and the four new, inexperienced JLAers to stop these new bad guys. Not only are they outclassed, powers-wise, but they don't even believe they deserve to be called superheroes, much less members of the Justice League of America. Ralph, always one of the old team's members most proud of his inclusion, finds he has to step up and lead these men and women and give them the confidence they need to do the job.
Ralph's Kooky Quartet holds off the Secret Six just long enough for Arthur, J'onn, and Zee to return from their other-dimension prison and use a combined assault to end the fight:

Obviously I was more than a little disappointed that Aquaman is entirely removed from the fight and the book for eighteen of its twenty-one pages, especially when he looks so cool as drawn by Chriscross. That said, the character stuff between Ralph and the others is pretty good, and considering the hell DC has put the Dibneys through over the last decade, I'm happy to see them get a chance to shine.
