Mera takes center stage--along with some other of DC's top superheroines--in a story set in the "Flashpoint" universe, where Aquaman has gone rogue and declared war on the surface world:
I feel it is the Shrine's duty to cover such major events such as "Convergence", especially since Aquaman (and Mera, yay) seem to be taking such a large role in it. That said, I'll fully admit I didn't really understand any of this--neither on a story level, a continuity level, or in the greater sense why anyone would want to return to the "Flashpoint" era of the DCU.
For those of you enjoying this, that's great! I wish I could say the same. That said, I will be picking up the other Aqua-centric "Convergence" books to see if they are more to my liking.
