Look closely, and you'll see one of the kids is reading a copy of Who's Who #8, where you can plainly see the listings for the Golden Age Flash and one of Aquaman's Rogues Gallery, The Fisherman!

Chris also points out that, by 1987, this issue of Who's Who was two years old, so where the heck did it come from? That's a good question, but it takes away from the larger one, which is why was Chris showing his kids Ernest Goes To Camp?

In my defense, Jim Varney is a regional hero, hailing from nearby Lexington, Kentucky. His face adorned Trauth dairy trucks years after his ad campaign for them ended. His legend rolls on.
Plus, the Blu-Ray double feature with this and "Ernest Goes to Jail" was $3 at Wal-Mart. You haven't lived until you've experienced Jim Varney in full HD.

Jim Varney as the Fisherman! Epic casting. I think him being deceased may be a problem though.
