Thank you for the shout-out, gentlemen. However, It was actually Mister Negative Steve who said that Millennium made him stop reading comics for a decade, Hitman being the "one good thing" to come out of "Bloodlines," building CD shelves, and buying music.

The question about the release of the DC Heroes RPG being delayed to not spoil the Flash death in Crisis #8 was mine however. It would be interesting to hear what others say about that.

And I did listen to the DC Sampler podcast while flying home from Japan. And the studio I worked in was a manhua (Hong Kong comic book) studio. I used to draw backgrounds -- I had been told it was good work, but slow work. Then I was shot in the back by a convenience store robber, which made my slow work become slower work, and then "out of work." Such is life...

And Shag, "nuclear" is pronounced "new clear" all run together. Perhaps you can space out the two words and Rob can edit the pause out.

Until episode 100. Expect a commemorative gift in the e-mail.

Best,
Xum

"Nuk-yu-ler. It's pronounced 'nuk-yu-ler'."

Congratulations, Rob, on becoming an official talking head for DC Entertainment with the upcoming "Throne of Atlantis" DVD/Blu-ray! That is super-cool, and it's both an incredible bit of fan-service on DC's part as well as a validation of the time and effort you put into celebrating Aquaman every day for so long. You should cherish this opportunity for a long, long time...

... At least until the Flash TV show reveals that Firestorm's roommate is named Shag.

Speaking of validating someone's time and effort, thanks for another Steam Award for "The Elements Club" playdate I created for you guys. And thank you all the more for republishing it on your Tumblr so more fans can experience all the time and energy and Maker's Mark that went into the project. I don't just do things like that for myself; I do them because I enjoy your podcast and your personalities almost as much as I enjoy the comics. And also Maker's Mark.

That is the American pronunciation of "nuclear", isn't it? I was schooled in Singapore and London, so I'm going by the British-English pronunciation.

Shag, use whichever version works best for you. I will say however that "nuclear" (new clear) is one of the more easier British pronunciations, unlike "entreprenuer" and "aluminium"... (I am not sure how to say that in Simpson-American English...)

Also, "Shag, my roomate" has a completely different meaning in London and the Commonwealth if stated too quickly. Just a word of warning...

Best,
Xum

I've said it on facebook, but I'll say it again here; congrats on the Throne of Atlantis appearance, Rob. I've been sitting out most of DC's DVDs lately, but that one is bought on release day for sure.

Can't wait to hear episode 100. I know you guys have been working your collective arses off on that one, and I can only imagine it's going to be one helluva fun ride!!!

Shag, loved your daughter's sign, and Count, that comic rocks. You should have worked for ToyFare back in it's heyday!
