I DEMAND that Shag send every listener a cookie. Here I am at work listening to this show, and now I have a craving for homemade cookies. Damn you sir!
So Ra's is out carting around Talia and Damien's corpses, huh? Yay, modern comics! That (and the disturbing whale scene) aside, this story did sound like a fun B&B type story. I'm almost tempted to look into it...
Re: Firstorm Ca-LASS-ic: If Ronnie can't win a fight with a middle-aged mailman with a severe drinking problem, he just needs to hang up his poofy shirt.

Chris - Thank you. I haven't laughed that hard in a while. You rock!
Shag
I please to aim.

The Olympian was one of those "Manazons" from Didio's brain to Simone's Pre-Flashpoint run. I'm miffed about the Hercules thing, since that character belongs to the Wonder Woman franchise at DC, but makes his New 52 debut in an Aquaman comic. Ditto Dr. Psycho in Superboy.
I prefer to see Aquaman as a lithe, Spider-Man class hero. Trading punches with a comic universe's Hercules is a Sub-Mariner thing.
You guys need to come up with a term for the Aquaman/Mera "Fastball Special" that doesn't directly recall Colossus/Wolverine. Spout Strike?
Good on Jeff Parker for expanding the Aquaman rogues, as it's very necessary to avoid Manta/Orm fatigue returning.
Patrick Gleason was a serious contender who at one point was out-Manke-ing Doug. Then Christian Alamy started inking Mahnke to new heights, while the quality of Pat's work deteriorated precipitously, to the point where I now actively avoid it. A favorite among Aquaman artists, but if there's one character that you really don't want to recall while drawing the Sea King, it's Mr. Spock.
Speaking of Peter Parker, how is it that nerd had so much better luck with girlfriends than Ronnie?
Tony Stark surely had private therapy for his plunges off the wagon?
Go back to the numerical word verification, would you? First time out, and I pulled a word I cannot read with certainty.
