Ah, Justice League Task Force! That was such an eclectic but exciting team lineup--Aquaman, Nightwing, Flash (Wally West), Gypsy, and J'Onn J'Onzz. This story confirmed my feeling--based on his presence on the Super Powers cartoon--that Robin/Nightwing belonged with the Justice League even in a sidekick/hanger-on capacity.
I think this is actually from the Superman titles excellent "Panic in the Sky" storyline. This led into Superman reorganizing the Justice League, and Dan Jurgens taking over the title. Great stuff.
But, isn't Aquaman pretty frickin' strong? Sorry Dick, Arthur is a heavy hitter!
