Aquaman Art Gallery - Luke Daab

sg
I thought we'd close the Shrine's 2013 Art Gallery segment with another mini-masterpiece from the multi-talented and all-around-good-egg Luke Daab. Arthur and Mera look a bit more contemplative than usual here; heck, sometimes even superheroes just wanna kick back and relax.
Another great piece, thanks Luke!

Awww...looks like they're at Arthur Jr.'s grave thinking back on their too short time with their wee lost bairn. Beautiful and sad.

There's a definite sadness there...and with Arthur holding that little octopus (doll?), I see the same thing as Joseph...memories of Arthur Jr.

^Yes, it's beautifully executed, but indeed very sad.

One of the few things I'm glad the New 52 has done is wiped away Arthur Jr.'s death. The character never recovered from the pall hanging over him and Mera after that story.

Beautiful job, Luke, as always. This really choked me up.
