Aquaman Art Gallery: George Perez

sg
Really can't beat Aquaman by George Perez; too bad we haven't really gotten that much of it, relatively. This commission piece of Arthur squaring off against Black Manta is amazing.

If I Ran DC Comics (Part Eleventy-Billion): I would create a JLA spin-off book featuring nothing but one-and-done stories, drawn by different top-flight artists: Perez, Ordway, Garcia-Lopez (PBHN), etc. Two-parts, max.

DC used to have such one and done stories. They were called comic books.

Interesting, what is Aquaman throwing at Black Manta?

He's using his Filmation water powers it seems.

Man, George hasn't missed a beat. I've seen some of his more recent DC stuff that was more...open and less detailed, I suppose to accommodate DC's fancy new coloring techniques. You can keep those colors, give me THIS.

But I guess Boom Studios gets it now.
