Courtesy F.O.A.M. member Curtis Myercome these pics of the "Kai" Aquaman action figure, coming in 2014 from Play Arts. That is one tough-looking Sea King, thanks Curtis!
I think this is great. A lot of the Aquaman figures that have come out are too visually similar to justify buying them all. This is visually different but still clearly Aquaman. Love it.
It's from a line of DC figures with influence from Japanese animation and gaming, Russell.
With Aquaman's resurgent popularity lately and DC focusing on making multiple versions of their core heroes rather than deep character line expansion, there's been too many plastic Aquamen for me to keep up with lately.
Coming up we have a DC Direct Manta, a new Mattel six inch Aquaman and Manta, scribblenauts Aquaman and Manta, DC Signature 90s Aquaman and Ocean Master, this kai figure... sheesh. My kingdom for an Aqualad.

Ew. He looks like a fresh kidney stone.
So I'll ask....what is a "kai" Aquaman?
