It's a two-fer today's installment of Aquaman Art Gallery, featuring a pair of "warm-up sketches" of Aquaman and Mera by artist Geraldo Borges. The fact that Mr. Borges calls these merely "warm-up sketches" only confirms the rightness of my decision to never try and draw comics for a living.
If you like what you see, then you're in luck! Mr. Borges is doing the art on Aquaman #23.2 (the Ocean Master issue) and the upcoming Aquaman Annual, which means we're all in luck! If you want to see more of his work, check out his site!
And there's an Aquaman Annual? I was hoping there would be. Cool!
I laughed out loud at your "draw comics for a living" comment, Rob. Yeah, I'm right there with ya. I like to think of myself as a story-teller, but compared to this caliber of talent, I am definitely not an artist! :-)

I can't wait to see Geraldo's work on the Annual & Ocean Master -- these sketches are just beautiful!!!

Awesome art.
Sweet stuff!
Nice! Good to see some nice pen and ink gesture drawings in this day of all digital art.
