I think the publishers fall victim to the same sort of thinking you see from the TV networks; they're so desperate for an instant "hit" they don't give anything a chance to develop or find an audience. Instead, we get yet another Batman title, because they already know that will sell.
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Shag doesn't think there would be a market for a live-action Firestorm because his head's on fire? Someone should tell Ghost Rider and the Human Torch.
